On the other hand, the President affirmed that the problem of inequality in the country will not be solved with withdrawals from pension funds, for which he called for taking care of people’s pension savings to generate a true new social security system.

“It is not possible to pretend to solve the structural inequalities of Chilean society at the point of withdrawals from pension funds. That is bread for today, hunger for tomorrow and if we want to build a true social security system, we must also take care of pension savings” , he stated.

“I hope that the population also becomes part of this reflection and that we all collaborate together to move the Chilean economy forward so that there is more justice and equality in our country,” he concluded.
