The President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, officially began his vacation this Thursday when he will travel along the central coast and Patagonia in Chile.
In detail, it is presumed that he will travel to the town of Tunquén, on the central coast, together with his partner Irina Karamanos. An official presidential photo was taken at this location.
He is also expected to travel to two regions he has not visited: Bío Bío and Tarapacá.
Due to the above, the Minister of the Interior, Carolina Tohá, and the Undersecretary of the Interior, Manuel Monsalve, will replace the President during his vacation period. During this period they will focus on receiving proposals and comments on security.
