Scholz first visited the Museum of Memory and Human Rights accompanied by the Head of State, where he honored the victims of human rights violations during the civic-military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet (1973-1990). The leaders are expected to discuss the situation in Colonia Dignidad, a place that was a clandestine prison during the dictatorship.
