The President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, is preparing a three-day tour aboard a train from the State Railway Company (EFE) through the regions of O’Higgins, Maule and Ñuble, in the central zone of the country.
The trip will begin next Thursday, August 18, with the first stop being the city of Rancagua, where the President will hold an activity at the station and later travel to two communes in the region by land, according to reports The Mercury.
The second stop will be in Curicó, where the head of state is expected to hold a series of activities on Friday.
On Saturday, the President will attend the commemoration of the 24th anniversary of the birth of Bernardo O’Higgins in the district of Chillán.
