During a bilateral meeting between the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen, and the President of Chile, Gabriel Boric, within the framework of the IX Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles, United States, the Chilean expressed interest in having a delegation of Panamanian businessmen visit Chile to explore future investments; in addition to addressing issues of bilateral interest such as education, sports and agriculture.
At the meeting, Cortizo highlighted the fraternal and excellent diplomatic relations that exist between the two nations and said that his administration will continue to work hand in hand and strengthen the historical ties of cooperation that it maintains with Chile, promoting the well-being and hope of both peoples.
