Republic President, Gabriel Boricrejected the incidents caused this morning after a demonstration in the surroundings of the Barros Borgoño Lyceum where a Transantiago bus was set on fire.
It should be noted that around 10 this morning, a group of about 100 students held intense demonstrations outside the Liceo Barros Borgoño, in the commune of Santiago. This situation ended with a Transantiago bus completely consumed by flames.
Some of the hooded protesters set up barricades and threw Molotov cocktails, one of which hit the public transport bus. When the machine began to catch fire, its occupants quickly descended, without resulting in any of its passengers being injured.
The students demonstrated due to the fact that they denounced the lack of teachers, deficiency in the delivery of food by Junaeb, poor conditions for academic development and among other issues.
