Acting President Delcy Rodríguez does not plan to travel outside Venezuela in the coming days. This was reported by the Minister of Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, through a publication on Telegram.
Given the rumors of a possible trip that have been spread by some media, the sector vice president of Communication and Culture clarified that all the efforts of the president in charge are “concentrated as a government on the internal agenda to guarantee our people their right to peace and stability.”
In this way, his departure from the country is ruled out, at least in the short term.
Previously, the Venezuelan government issued a statement notifying the arrival of a delegation of diplomats from the United States Department of Statewho arrived in the country to carry out “technical and logistical evaluations inherent to the diplomatic function.”
Likewise, it was announced that a Venezuelan delegation will be sent to the United States, but no details were offered in this regard.
