Panama, May 22, 2023. The President of the Republic Laurentino Cortizo Cohen traveled to the city of Houston, Texas in the United States, to continue the medical treatment established by the specialists at MD Anderson in that city.
This is the second medical evaluation that the president will undergo, after starting treatment for low-risk myelodysplasia diagnosed by his doctors in July of last year.
Cortizo Cohen will travel on the presidential plane and return to Panama on Wednesday the 24th to continue with his daily work schedule.
