The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo Cohen led the weekly meeting of the Execution and Commitment Monitoring Cabinet, in order to guarantee that the entities work in a coordinated and transparent manner.
In the first instance, the Minister of Public Works, Rafael Sabonge, presented the progress of projects at the national level such as modular bridges and accesses, as well as the transfer of items to meet some commitments. He also highlighted the publication of some tenders.
For its part, the Ministry of Government, through its head Roger Tejada, reported on the progress of projects in prisons. As well as the next tender for meals in prisons, an act that has not been carried out for 9 years.
The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, spoke about the monitoring of pending projects at the national level, such as hospitals, health centers.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Education, through Minister Maruja Gorday de Villalobos and Vice Minister of Infrastructure, Ricardo Sánchez, highlighted the status of the 30 priority projects.
While the Ministry of Housing, also announced the progress in housing construction and the status with contractors.
Pandeportes reported on the different jobs that are carried out in sports centers, stadiums. As well as public acts that will be taking place.
Juan Ducruet, director of the Institute of National Aqueducts and Sewers (IDAAN), announced the progress in some projects to improve supply.
The weekly meeting of the Execution and Commitment Monitoring Cabinet seeks to speed up works that are a priority for the benefit of the community.
One of the objectives of the meetings is for the entities to work in an aligned manner adhering to the Government Action Plan Uniting Forces and the commitments acquired through the Bicentennial Pact.
