President Gabriel Boric He indicated this Thursday that the Government will make “every effort” to increase the number of Carabineros. This, in the face of criticism for the country’s security climate.
“In all the places where we go, yesterday in Bajo de Mena, in Puente Alto, they tell us: ‘we need more policemen’ and indeed, they are not invented out of nowhere,” said the President after being consulted about a letter signed by more than 40 mayors, in which they ask to promote a series of measures to improve the country’s security situation.
