The president of the Republic, gabriel boricreceived his Colombian counterpart, Gustavo Petrowho is making a bilateral visit to Chile, with a view to strengthening ties between the two countries.
Boric received the president of Colombia at the La Moneda Palace, who received the honors of the palace guard to later hold a meeting and then give a press conference where both will talk about the reasons for Petro’s visit to Chile.
The National Head of State will award his Colombian counterpart with the Collar of the Order of Merit -Chile’s highest distinction-, and for his part, Petro will present Boric with the Order of Boyacá, in the rank of Grand Collar.
