President Gabriel Boric named Valentina Santelices, Nancy Perez Ojeda Y Leandro Andres Voisin as their representatives on the board of the National Mining Company (Enami).
Santelices Riquelme is a lawyer from the University of Chile, has a master’s degree in Environmental Law. “Throughout her career, she has held various positions, consolidating her experience in sustainability issues and viability strategies,” says a statement from the Ministry of Mining.
For her part, Pérez Ojeda is a civil engineer in computer science from the Federico Santa María Technical University and has a master’s degree in Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship from the same university. She has more than 30 years of experience in the development of technological innovations and in the design and implementation of business strategies, innovation and the incorporation of digital technologies in institutions.
Meanwhile, Voisin Aravena is a mining civil engineer from the University of Chile and has a master’s degree in Extractive Metallurgy. He has extensive experience in geometallurgy, extractive metallurgy, pyrometallurgy and metal recycling, and in the development and leadership of R+D+i (Research, Development and Innovation) projects.
The Mining Minister, Marcela Hernandohighlighted that those appointed by Boric “are professionals with extensive experience who join the board of directors and we are sure that with their experience they will be a fundamental contribution to strengthen Enami and, in this way, support and promote small and medium-sized mining. from the country”.
