President Gabriel Boric Appointed, after evaluating the lists sent by the Council of Senior Public Management, new national directors of the Better Childhood Service, the National Service for the Elderly (Senama) and the National Disability Service (Senadis).
Specific, Gabriela Munoz Serrano will assume as national director of Better Childhood; Claudia Asmad Apollo in Senam and Daniel Concha Gamboa in Senadis.

As reported by the Government in a statement, Gabriela Muñoz has a degree in Education from the Catholic University of Chile, a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Diego Portales University and a master’s degree in Needs, Rights and Cooperation for the Development of Children from the Autonomous University of Madrid .
She was national deputy director of the National Youth Institute (Injuv), executive director of the Hogar de Cristo Central Zone, and even before taking over as deputy of the National Directorate of the Specialized Protection Service for Children and Adolescents, she served as head of the Services and Benefits Division in the same organization, as a result of a Senior Public Management (ADP) process.
For her part, Claudia Asmad is a nurse-midwife from the University of Valparaíso, graduated in Digital Marketing from the Universidad del Desarrollo, graduated in Methodology of Clinical Research from the University of Chile, with a specialization in Education for the Elderly at the University Mayor and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Gerontology at the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana.
She has work experience in the public and private service, having been Technical Director and Director of the Long Stay Establishment for the Elderly. Until before she assumed the position of surrogate of the National Directorate of SENAMA, she worked as Head of the Division and Territorial Management of SENAMA, as a result of an ADP process.
Meanwhile, Daniel Concha has a degree in Theology from the Catholic University of Chile, a master’s degree from the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, and a master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College. In addition, he is a professor of Epistemology and Social Policies and of topics of labor inclusion for people with disabilities.
During the second government of the former president Michelle Bachelet he was director of Senadis, also through the ADP system.
