The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that by “no later than the month of April” in 2025, elections will be held where the community, together with the youth, will elect “a specific youth project” in 5,197 communal circuits.
“I have the money,” said the president after a presidential activity where he made delivery of works in the interior of the country and instructed the strengthening of national park systems.
He indicated that, as part of the political management in these communal circuits, in “the young commune” the goal is to have teams of 20 or 30 “boys organized into territories.” These highlighted that they have supported the projects in all the communities of the country, but they ask that “projects for youth” be supported.
“Because the young man has specific projects, building a multimodal court, for example; a youth house that has studios for social networks and audiovisual production, or an amphitheater, I leave that to the empowered youth,” said Maduro, while urging them to propose all the ideas that exist and meet ” next Sunday in April, holding elections so that you can choose the best youth project in the communities of Venezuela with your vote.”
