Santo Domingo.– The President Luis Abinader This Saturday, a work agenda will be developed that includes several inaugurations of educational, social, housing and environmental sanitation works in Greater Santo Domingo and the National District.
The day will begin with the inauguration of the renovation of the Los Peralejos ravine, in the National District, a work aimed at improving the environmental, health and safety conditions of the surrounding communities.
As part of his agenda, the head of state will also inaugurate the Villa Aura Children’s Home, Los Olivos, in the Santo Domingo Oeste municipality, a center designed to provide comprehensive care to early childhood boys and girls, in support of working families.
Likewise, the head of state will lead the delivery of 200 apartments from the Residencial Lolita II, in Santo Domingo Oeste, as part of the housing programs promoted by the Government to reduce the housing deficit and guarantee decent homes for more Dominican families.
The day will conclude at 8:00 p.m. with the presentation of the 2026 National Youth Award, which will be held at the National Theater, where outstanding young people will be recognized for their contributions to the social, cultural, scientific and community development of the country.
