This Saturday, President Luis Abinader supervised the work of the pier in the municipality of Nagua, province Maria Trinidad Sanchez.
The head of state took a tour of the retaining wall with the minister of Public worksDeligne Ascensión, and the construction engineers.
When speaking with those in charge of the work, the president requested that it be completed by the middle of next year. It will be of great importance for the María Trinidad Sánchez province, bringing with it greater dynamism to the economy and tourism in the northeastern part of the country.
- The work includes a heliport, road and security solutions that will impact the lives of more than 70 thousand people.
According to the press release, this boardwalk will serve as protection that in the future will prevent the lives of thousands of citizens from being at risk, in the event of a natural phenomenon.
