Saint Francis of Macoris. – The President Luis Abinader He assured this Friday that in the next four years of his new administration Government will continue to deepen its actions to control corruption in order to continue working for transparency and ethics and emphasized that “this should be clear.”
He warned that he will not take into account anyone who commits illegal acts, regardless of political affiliation, and that “in this government, if he makes a mistake, he will expect consequences, and I want to clarify this from here.”
The president said that the government is not a prize to be shared among political leaders and that the government is there to serve and help people who need it.

President Abinader reiterated that he has come to the government to do things differently. “And we have to do things differently throughout the country and I also want to tell you now, at the beginning of this new 4-year period in which the Dominican people have reiterated their support and trust in us to lead the government, that in these four years we are still going to deepen our actions to control corruption.”
Heading the inauguration and delivery of the first phase of the 86 apartments in the Vista del Valle neighborhood, the president clarified that this project is part of the entire cleanup and ordering of the center of San Francisco de Macorís to evacuate people who live and have homes in situations that in many cases may be emergency or flooded. “These apartments are for those people, for the blue neighborhood and others who are going to be evacuated.”
He said that in order to monitor the correct delivery of these apartments and with total transparency, there will be a commission and he asked that it be chaired by the Bishopric, the Evangelical Church and other people.
The Head of State announced that they are also working rapidly on a land titling project and a land planning project for San Francisco de Macorís.
He concluded by saying: “I repeat, we are going to do things as God commands and with Justice so that the government’s actions go to those who really need them.”
