“This section of the old highway, over the years, has become an avenue with multiple businesses and industries that make it a highly trafficked road. However, due to the deterioration of the pavement, the lack of signage and the insecurity with which it was found, they had turned it into a dangerous and tedious highway,” explained Ascención.
He said that the signaling adapted to the new construction technologies will guarantee the safety of the vehicles that travel through the highway whose remodeling consisted of the rehabilitation of 11 kilometers of the asphalt layer, including milling, replacement of materials.
It also included the replacement of the existing railings and placement of new security structures, as well as horizontal and vertical security signage, and guidance for drivers.
