With an investment of more than 74 million pesos, the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, together with Jean Luis Rodríguez, executive director of the Dominican Port Authority (Apordom), inaugurated this Saturday the tourist and fishing dock from La Yeguada in the municipality of Miches, El Seibo province.
By leading the event, the president made the ribbon cutting in the company of officials, municipal authorities and special guests.
For his part, the owner of ApordomJean Luis Rodríguez, pointed out that the work is not only a set of structures to the fishermenbut it represents an opportunity to work in better conditions and to go out to sea with greater safety to support family members with the peace of mind that they have a port that gives them support.
“This tourist and fishing dock of La Yeguada is part of its commitment to bring development to every corner of the country,” he highlighted.
