President Luis Abinader ordered the reduction of the Inespre Christmas Super Combo from RD$800 to RD$650 pesos, which are sold at the “Inespre Christmas Fairs for Change”, in which more than 18,000 people have benefited in the two first deliveries.
The director of Inespre, Iván Hernández Guzmánreported that the president gave precise instructions for said combo to be reduced with the aim of benefiting the Dominican population, especially the most vulnerable, since it contains 15 basic basket products for only 650 pesos such as 5 pounds of selecto B rice, an 800-gram package of green beans, a 15-ounce can of pigeon peas, a one-pound special salami, a 15-ounce sardine in tomato sauce, a 400-gram package of spaghetti, a 14-ounce bag of cornmeal, one 16-ounce oil, one 15-ounce can of canned sweet corn, one 8-ounce jar of powdered seasoning, one 16-ounce natural golden vinegar, 300-gram whole oats, cassava 4-piece natural, 454-gram ground salt and a 10-unit box of chocolate bars.

Hernández Guzmán highlighted that Luis Abinader also ordered the expansion of the range of products offered at the Christmas of Change Fairs with Inespre, which has been achieved with the support of Codopesca and numerous commercial houses that have joined them, achieving offer pork leg of more than 12 pounds at 750 pesos, whole chicken from 3.5 to 4 pounds at 150, ten pounds of chops at 800, one-pound salami at 70, five-pound cover of select B rice at 100 pesos, sack 25 pounds of B rice for 500 pesos, 400-gram green beans for 100. 15-ounce canned pigeon peas for 60, 2.5-pound creole potatoes for 50, green guineitos for 1 peso, phia plantains for 5, spaghetti for 400 grams at 25, 16-ounce oil at 75, a pound of Creole garlic at 90, a two-pound case of cream sugar at 50, 15-ounce sardines in tomato sauce at 55, a 30-unit carton of eggs at 150; as well as chops, fish, ham, ham, cheese, cassava, bread, cornmeal, coffee, seasonings, mayonnaise, wines, sweets, cleaning products, among others.
More than 12,000 people attended the Play Hermanos Alou de Sabana Perdida this weekend in Santo Domingo Norte to purchase fresh and low-cost food, where they also benefited from the delivery of meals from the Economic Kitchens, free transportation from the OMSA for several Municipal routes, Banco de Reservas ATMs, affiliation day and medical services from Senasa and 911, a gift of reusable bags, music, animations, a photo booth at “La Granjita del Inespre” with little trees and live animals, among other amenities.
This fair in Santo Domingo Norte was organized and coordinated by Juan de la Cruz, in charge of Inespre in the Santo Domingo province; Edgar García, director of the Eastern Region and coordinator of Fairs; Alexandra Álvarez, coordinator of fairs; Geomar García, engineering manager; Eudy Collado, assistant director; Antony Arseno, Director of Marketing; Delio Luna, Director of Supply and Services; Marcos Rodríguez, in charge of logistics; Mardy Feliz, in charge of markets in the South Region, and by other collaborators.
Important personalities from the Santo Domingo province attended, such as Julia Drullar, governor; Rafael Burgos Gómez, director of National Assets and the CEA; Isidro Torres, director of the Community Technology Center; Juan Rosa, director of Pensions for the Aged; Richard Valdez, mayor of Palmarejo-Villa Linda; Fidel de los Santos, municipal director of Pantoja; Wilson Paniagua, mayor of Pedro Brand; Mirtha Pérez, municipal director of La Guayiga; Cesar Rojas, mayor of San Antonio de Guerra; Vinicio Coco, director of the Mirador Sur National Park; Father José Alberto Vargas and others.
Residents of Santo Domingo Norte expressed satisfaction for the realization of this Fair and thanked the Presidency of the Republic for supporting and promoting this type of initiatives that they described as very necessary. Those present also had access to a wide variety of products from Grupo Alonzo, El Cerro, Baldom, Rica, Grupo SID, Pizza Michel, El Chef, La Famosa and Induban products.
Upcoming Fairs
The Great Fairs “Christmas the Change with the Inespre” will extend to Santiago on Friday, December 16 and Saturday, December 17 in the Central Park, former Cibao Airport; to Santo Domingo Oeste and the National District on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 on the grounds of the Old Herrera Airport; then it will be installed in San Francisco de Macorís on Tuesday, December 27 and Wednesday, December 28 at the Livestock Fair; in Santo Domingo Este on Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th at the María del Mar sports complex in Los Frailes II. For the beginning of the year 2023, they will be held in Los Alcarrizos on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 January at Play Campusano and in San Cristóbal on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 at the Temístocles Metz Stadium, from 9 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon.
