SANTO DOMINGO.- The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader called on the Dominican people to celebrate with prudence and moderation during the Christmas festivities.
“We are ending the year in good shape, both in economic and social aspects. I ask the Dominican people to enjoy this Christmas prudently with their family and loved ones,” said the president at the end of the act of handing over the vehicles to the Tourist Police.
The ruler added that the country is advancing and that all the challenges will continue to be faced next year.
“Merry Christmas, a year 2023, of health and hope to all Dominicans that I am sure God will help us to have,” he said.
