This Tuesday, more than 300 representatives and leaders of social movements, political parties, popular spokespersons attended the Venezuelan School of Planning in Caracas, to begin the first preparatory meeting of what will be the second chapter of the Great Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Block.
“In the Second Chapter of the Congress, the Historical Block will meet in function of the great transformation meetings, great tasks linked to our people to build happiness,” explained the Coordinator of the Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Block, Ricardo Menendez, during their participation in this preliminary meeting.
The sector vice president of Planning also pointed out that Congress is a permanent “ground cable.” “The spaces of permanent participation, change of political vision as a great epicenter for the construction of new methods of government.”
Menéndez asserted that the challenges that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, has posed for the next presidential period, correspond to an unprecedented transformation of Venezuelan society.
“For the next presidential term, the president has presented us with the challenge that has to do with changes in methods, with changes in forms, with changes in how we do things, but, additionally, going towards the underlying process of transformation of “society, which is everything that corresponds to the structure of society,” he indicated before the cameras. Menéndez confirmed that this preliminary meeting is attended by 300 people from all over the country belonging to the five generations and the seven forces of the Revolution, who will debate four generating questions linked to the consolidation of the Historical Block of 21st century Venezuela.
The president participated by telephone in the meeting Nicolás Maduro Moroswho, through live contact, expressed his certainty in the collective leadership and creative powers of the people to work for the great transformation of Venezuela.
