The President of the Council of Ministers, Alberto Otárolamet this afternoon with the Popular Renovation bench, within the framework of the round of dialogue that he is holding with different political groups with a view to achieving a vote of confidence next Tuesday, January 10, and upon departure he stated that he will propose to the Legislature a package of measures to reactivate the economy.
“The government of President Dina Boluarte understands the sense of urgency of various measures. We are going to propose to Congress a package of measures that reactivates the economy, we will give the details on Tuesday, ”she anticipated.
Likewise, he announced that he will also address before the Plenary, based on direct instructions from the president, the issues of health care and the start of the school year next March.
“It will be a speech, clearly, openly, openly,” he continued, adding that, in this context, the issue of corruption will be included “and the need to bring the words integrity and meritocracy to the State, and also some axes regarding of the international relations of Peru”. Likewise, he continued, “about the current problems we have in the south, especially in Puno.”

Looking for the vote of confidence
About the meeting with the bench of popular renewalled by Congressman Jorge Montoya, Otárola, in dialogue with journalists, commented that various ideas were presented that, in his opinion, were accepted and are related to internal order, economic stability and peace and social tranquility.
“It has been a frank, sincere meeting; We have talked about practically all the axes that will make up the message. I have been very transparent about what we can do and what we are going to raise, ”she said.
He added that so far he has met with ten of the twelve benches that Congress currently has, and stressed that, in general terms, he found “an adequate response of high responsibility on the part of the congressmen.”
”We have come with a lot of transparency to seek trust. We are going to continue talking, on Monday I have another meeting, it is my desire to meet, especially with those who disagree with us, ”she said.
For his part, Jorge Montoya, spokesman for Renovación Popular, did not want to anticipate the position of his block regarding the request for confidence in the Otárola cabinet and commented briefly that the decision will be made on Tuesday the 10th.
