The president of the Council of Ministers, Mirtha Vasquez, regretted this Sunday the offending phrases that the parliamentarian Patricia Chirinos, from Avanza País, launched against the President of the Republic on the eve, Pedro Castillo, during a march in favor of the president’s vacancy.
“At this time we are in a very difficult situation in the country and what we must avoid is this type of confrontation, sometimes tinged with disrespect that I believe does not fit in a circumstance like the one we have now, we have to join forces, establish governance conditions and it is very important to respond to these problems”Vásquez declared to the press during a statement on the damage caused by the 7.5 earthquake registered this Sunday in Amazonas.
“I am sorry that this has happened, we hope that political actors are aware of what we face and our responsibilities“Added the head of the ministerial cabinet.
Chirinos Tort
Congresswoman Patricia Chirinos (Avanza País) insulted the president the day before during the march in favor of the vacancy, which is promoting her bench in Parliament.
“If you allow me, I have a few words that I want to say head-on, looking him in the eye and without fear of President Castillo. President Castillo go to the car * # $!”He said during his speech.
The event occurred when Chirinos Venegas expressed his rejection of Castillo Terrones’ management, where he compared his government with that of Cuba and Venezuela.
The event was attended by former presidential candidate Rafael López Aliaga and congressmen Alejandro Cavero and Adriana Tudela, as well as the former president of the Christian Popular Party Lourdes Flores Nano.
The march concluded at the front of the Palace of Justice with a rally where López Aliaga participated. Another group of opponents of the Government marched towards the Government Palace and some acts of violence were recorded.
It should be noted that another group of citizens, opposed to the vacancy request, met in Plaza San Martín and mobilized through various streets of the capital, including Avenida Alfonso Ugarte.
