Through its official X account, Senamhi published its latest notice 050-2025 in which it alerts the towns located in the Sierra Centro y Sur, Self Alta Norte, Sierra de Piura and Cajamarca, for being the main affected areas.
These notices indicate the possibility of activation of ravines associated with the forecast rains for the next 24 hours (short -term notice), considering the rain of the 7 -day history and the susceptibility to mass movements.
According to Indeci, so far 46 dead and more than 8 thousand victims have been recorded by heavy rains in Peru.
