The president of the Council of Ministers, Gustavo Adrianzénwho led a new session of the War Room, together with Ministers of State and senior commanders of the National Police and the Armed Forces, announced that they will provide serene tools from different districts to face crime.
The head of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) joined the greeting of President Dina Boluarte for the approval, by the Congress of the Republic, of key security laws. In that sense, he added that soon the Executive will promulgate the law that enables serene to use electocphoque guns, which will strengthen the preventive work of local governments.
“Our purpose is one: to give all our sisters and brothers the peace and tranquility that criminals intend to snatch ourselves. With the law and the constitution of our side, we will defend our country,” said the head of the ministerial cabinet.
The Premier Adrianzén stressed that the authorities will not rest until they take criminals to high security prisons and that criminal organizations have been attacked from all flanks.
On the other hand, he expressed his condolences for the death of the PNP NCOs PNP Alfred Ronaldo Acevedo Cotrina, killed in Pataz (La Libertad), and reiterated that the Government will remain firm in this fight against those who pretend to instill anxiety in the population.
Deployment and results
The head of the ministerial cabinet highlighted the joint work of the PNP and the Armed Forces, such as the execution of 405 combined patrols and the deployment of more than 4400 troops nationwide.
Meanwhile, the general commander of the National Police, General PNP Víctor Zanabria, informed that in the last 24 hours the disarticulation of 25 criminal gangs in Lima and Callao, and the seizure of firearms, vehicles and cell phones that were employed for illicit purposes were achieved.
Reiterates call for unit
The Premier Adrianzén stressed that this fight must convene the entire country and reiterated the call to unity to the powers of the State and citizenship. He said that the Public Ministry and the Judiciary must prevent detainees from being released, that Congress must continue to issue laws that help in the task of defeating crime and that citizens must collaborate by denouncing any suspicious fact or movement.
“The Government leads this struggle, but everyone’s task is only in unity, the powers of the State, the private sector, the forces of order and all Peruvians and Peruvians who love the country, we will win this war that we do not start, but that we are going to end for the tranquility of everyone,” said the head of the PCM.
