It is now available on website from the Brazilian Institute of Training and Capacity Building (IBFC) the preliminary results of the objective tests of the Correios public competition, for 3,099 vacancies offered to candidates for the position of Postal Agent – Postman (medium level).
Around 1 million candidates competed for 3,511 vacancies for postman and other positions. The competition for the public company was applied on December 15, 2024, after 13 years of suspension.
Mid-level postman positions will have a starting salary of R$2,400, in addition to food/meal vouchers of around R$1,400.
The preliminary results of the objective tests for the 412 vacancies for higher-level positions (postal analyst, with a starting salary of R$6.87 thousand) will be published on January 24th. In this case, with benefits, the total remuneration is around R$8,500. The specialties provided for in the notice are for lawyers, systems analysts, architects, archivists, social workers and engineers.
At least 30% of the vacancies are reserved for black and mixed-race people and indigenous people, a figure higher than that established by legislation (20%), and 10% for people with disabilities.
