This Friday, January 10, the Prosecutor’s Office ordered the beginning of preliminary proceedings against the minister Julio Demartini as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of incompatible negotiation and obstruction of justice.
The head of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, Julio Demartini, denied the accusations that have been made against him in the Qali Warma case, also indicating that he has been collaborating with the Prosecutor’s Office, denying any personal relationship with Carlos Guillén.
This has been a character who becomes key in the case, since he has also been linked to President Dina Boluarte.
According to sources, this person would have tried to approach the president through Noemí Alvarado, a figure who, apparently, acted as an intermediary to offer certain benefits to a close friend of the president in exchange for ceasing the complaints that had been made public about the Qali Warma program.
“I want to categorically reject that I am involved in this unfortunate case of Frigoinca. I have already discussed this with Supreme Prosecutor Paucar yesterday, since they are trying to dirty this case, implicate other people who have nothing to do with it,” Demartini expressed for Canal N.
“In my case, from the first day the complaint came to light due to the journalistic investigation. We ourselves have asked the Prosecutor’s Office to enter the defunct ‘Qali Warma’ program, we have sanctioned more than 20 people and we are the first interested parties. that the truth be known, because one is not a minister of state to be involved in these things,” he added.
