The National Monte de Piedad (NMP) and its union reached a preliminary agreement that consists of a 5.9 percent salary increase, which must be submitted to a vote of the more than 2,300 workers in the coming days.
In this way, the strike scheduled for the first minute of yesterday was extended to November 21, in order to vent the consultation process in the 301 branches of the pledge institution, said union leader Arturo Zayún.
