A woman five months pregnant was murdered early Thursday morning in the La Pradera sector, San Joaquín, Carabobo state, according to police reports.
The fatal victim is identified as 40-year-old Uberika Machado Betancourt, who was traveling in a Spark vehicle when she was shot several times from a motorcycle. The woman died on the spot.
The Cicpc investigates the partner of the murdered woman.

In another event, a woman, identified as Olinda Iraima Alfonzo Espinel (58), died this Friday morning when she was run over by an Encava truck in front of the La Bandera passenger terminal, Caracas.
Olinda was accompanied by a seven-year-old granddaughter who is stable, according to police sources. The driver who hit her is on the run.
