Deputy Carlos Silva denounced that the Minister of the Court, Víctor Ríos, offered 5 million guaraníes to the board members and proxies, to twist the numbers in favor of the Efraín Alegre-Soledad Núñez duo.
In an interview with radio Universo 970 AM – Nación Media, the PLRA legislator Carlos Silva spoke of the case that affects his co-religionist Víctor Ríos, former senator and current minister of the highest judicial instance.
“We talked about countless audios, where it is revealed a modus operandi trying to carry out electoral fraud and trying to misrepresent the popular will, one expects a minister of the Court to reproach these practices”, Silva opined.

According to the complaint, in the audios Ríos is heard offering five million guaraníes for the bribery of table members, in exchange for positioning the pre-candidates of the Alegre-Núñez team.
the rRíos’ reaction to this accusation was a threat to file a lawsuit against the complainant. “Instead of distancing himself or requesting an exhaustive investigation, he gives him a protective cloak, covering up and threatening to sue the one who denounces the leak of these audios,” Silva criticized.

The interns will take place this Sunday, December 18, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The consultation will use the national register, with the authorization of the Superior Court of Electoral Justice. This will allow even those who are not affiliated with any party to go to the polls in these internal elections.
