Prefecture found the body of a man on Mayea beachin Paysandú, which was missing since Tuesday afternoon.
As reported in a press release, the man tried to “look for an oar that had fallen into the water while fishing”. The body was found in the waters of the Uruguay River at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11.
Likewise, according to Telenoche, a woman declared before the Police that she was fishing with the victim, a friend of hers, who I didn’t have a life jacket.
The prosecutor in the case, Estela Long, arranged the pass with the Scientific Police to carry out a photographic record and autopsy.
