The Brazilian Petroleum and Natural Gas Administration Company – Pré-Sal Petróleo SA (PPSA) will hold, in the coming months, the first public competition with the aim of hiring 100 higher education employees from 2025, in addition to forming a reserve register .
This Thursday, (7), the company hired the Development and Training Institute (IDCAP) to plan, organize and carry out the competition. The notice will be released by the end of the year. The purpose of the competition is to create its own staff, as the company only has employees in commissioned positions.
The vacancies are distributed among the positions of lawyer, corporate management analyst, information technology analyst and oil and gas specialist, working in different areas of the company. The vacancies are to work in Rio de Janeiro.
According to the interim president of PPSA, Tabita Loureiro, the competition was scaled to meet the increase in the company’s activities. “Today we have a team of 63 employees to manage 24 sharing contracts, act on individualization agreements and sell the Union’s cargo. The next ten years will see growth, both in management and mainly in the marketing of oil and natural gas. Without an increase in staff, we would not be able to continue representing the Union so well. PPSA has a unique mission and an excellent work climate. We have huge expectations regarding the success of this competition”, said Tabita.
The tests will be administered in the first half of 2025 and can be taken in Rio, São Paulo or Salvador. There will be an objective test for all positions. Candidates for the positions of lawyer and oil specialist will also take a discursive test. Of the vacancies offered, 5% will be offered to people with disabilities (PWDs) and 20% to self-declared black candidates.
Creation

According to the creation law, PPSA is not responsible for the execution, directly or indirectly, of exploration, development activities , production and commercialization of oil, natural gas and other fluid hydrocarbons.
In 2013, the Libra contract was the first to be signed, resulting from the first round of production sharing promoted by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
