After pleading guilty, Jhonier reached a pre-agreement with the Prosecutor’s Office that will be signed on friday february 4. The entity charged him with the crimes of aggravated homicide and concealment, alteration or destruction of material evidence.
Without negotiation, he would have to pay a sentence of more than 43 years in prison, but with the agreement this would decrease to almost two decades, between 25 to 26 years in prison.
On the other hand, you would have to pay a fine of 200 current legal minimum wages. That is, 200 million pesos. And along with this, sign a commitment not to continue committing crimes and a request for forgiveness.

The Prosecutor’s Office indicated that if this agreement were finalized, Leal could regain freedom in 13 years, by reducing the sentence with work and study. Legally, the inmates of the country who are sentenced can reduce one day of sentence for every two days of work and study in their place of detention.
However, he could not access the benefit of parole, since the crime of intentional homicide is not included among those who can access it. Once the agreement is signed, it will have to be endorsed by a judge in Bogotá.

THE STYLIST’S ASSETS
