The deputy of the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD), Raúl Pineda, reiterated that the positions that the party has reserved are to have them available to those who join the “great alliance” that the group seeks to repeat in power during the May elections of 2024.
The deputy said that the vacancies have not been assigned a name but indicated that they are talking with many political parties, including those that have publicly denied that these approaches are taking place, as is the case with the president of the Panameñista Party, José Isabel Blandón.
In addition, he said that in the case of Cambio Democrático they have met with the two currents, that of Yanibel Ábrego and that of the current president of the Rómulo Roux collective. He added that these alliances seek to repeat the PRD to continue saving lives.
“The most important thing is that the PRD repeats itself to continue saving lives and continue doing things like President Cortizo is doing,” he said.
