The legislator warned that recent cases of elected officials and close to Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), investigated or extradited for drug traffickingrepresent a direct threat to institutional stability, the credibility of the democratic system and trust in political parties.
Raposo considered that both the JCE like him Public Ministry They must assume a more active role in the evaluation of candidates for public office and in verifying the origin of the resources used in campaigns and party structures.

“The country cannot continue allowing linked people to the racketeering use the policy as a way to legitimize their illicit actions and protect their interests,” declared the legislator.
