According to a resolution published by the Electoral Court (TE), the candidates will have two days to submit their applications, until 8:00 pm on April 20.

The Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD) begins this Monday, April 18, to receive applications for those seeking positions in the National Executive Council (CEN) of that party. The election to elect the highest partisan authority, as well as secretaries at the national level and other authorities will be on May 15.

The current vice president of the Republic, José Gabriel Carrizo, is expected to run for the post of general secretary of his party. This, with the political support of heavyweights within the National Assembly, such as the current president of the PRD, Benicio Robinson, and the president of the Assembly, deputy Crispiano Adames.

According to a resolution published by the Electoral Court (TE), the candidates will have two days to submit their applications, until 8:00 pm on April 20.
