SAN LUIS POTOSÍ, Mexico.- A general electrical failure left without gas manufactured to residents in several municipalities of Havana on Tuesday and the service was restored on Wednesday; on social networks where the news was spread, Cubans criticized the precarious situation of all services, which are constantly affected.
A note from the Havana Manufactured Gas Company reported that the breakdown occurred at production plant 2 that supplies gas service to the Playa – Marianao Network.
According to the report, the breakage was caused by “inclement weather” which caused the failure at the production plant.
“The Havana Electric Company, together with the Havana Electric Company, Gas The company managed to restore service in the shortest possible time. However, they reiterate their apologies for the inconvenience caused to their customers,” they said.
Dozens of Internet users expressed in the comments section of Havana Tribunereporting the following day on the impact, that this was only one of the problems affecting the town.
They also mocked the justification given, always a different one, to explain the crisis that Cuba is suffering.
“Let’s go for more”
“Inclement weather. A summer downpour and loud thunder. When it’s not one thing, it’s another. How did they manage a few years ago? Saint Peter sneezes and Cuba gets pneumonia,” wrote one person.
Another, in a sarcastic tone, said: “Cupet, you were the only one missing to join the club of the inept, welcome, friend, you now join UNE, Etecsa, Aguas de La Habana, Civil Registries, Collective Law Firms, Mincin, Minsap, etc.”
One Internet user even said: “The inclemency is not due to the weather, it is the leadership that is inclement with our needs, as it did not foresee or make arrangements.”
Problems with the supply of gas, both manufactured and liquefied, are among the problems that Cubans must face, making the issue of food even more complicated, already conditioned by the scarcity and high cost of basic products.
