The president explained that since 2017 this building was declared with domain extinction and that in addition the place belonged to Society of Special Assets (SAE) of the Government and it was being misused and control had not been exercised.
The place was evacuated this Friday, September 23 at 11:30 am and In the next few days, the demolition process of the building will begin.. Due to the announcement of this decision, the families who lived there came out to protest because they had nowhere to live.
For this reason, the District reported that those affected would be favored with rental subsidies, stay in shelters for homeless people and humanitarian aid kits.
