On the afternoon of this Saturday, June 11, the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported a slight increase in cases of Covid-19 hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit and a decrease in the positivity of the tests.
According to the Minsa for this afternoon Panama reports 2,323 new positive cases for a cumulative of 889,960 cases, which gave a positivity of 19.5%.

They also report that in the last 24 hours, 3 new deaths were registered, for a total of 8,298 deaths and a lethality of 0.9%.
Regarding the total number of active cases, the report highlights that there are 25,692. Of them, 25,388 are in home isolation and 304 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 25,352 at home and 36 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 272 in the Ward and 32 in the ICU.

They add that those recovered amount to 855,970, of which 3,447 are newly recovered. 12,151 new tests were applied for a positivity of 19.5%.

They also reported that the districts with the highest number of cases reported today are: Juan Díaz, Rufina Alfaro, San Francisco, Bethania and Ancón.
