In Panama, 852,607 confirmed accumulated cases have been reported to date, of which 2,123 are new cases. Two deaths are reported in the last 24 hours for a cumulative of 8,249 deaths and a lethality of 1.0%.
The people recovered from the disease amount to 815,618, of which 3,545 are newly recovered. 10,046 tests were applied for a positivity of 21.1%.
Active cases total 28,740, of which 28,480 are in home isolation and 260 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 28,442 at home and 38 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 221 in the Ward and 39 in the ICU.
In the world, there are 531,476,876 confirmed accumulated cases of Covid-19 to date; in addition to 487,947,648 recovered and 6,310,627 deceased for a lethality of 1.2%.
The report issued by the Department of Epidemiology of the Minsa at the cutoff this Sunday indicates that the corregimientos of, Juan Díaz (Panama), Rufina Alfaro, Bethania, San Francisco (Panama) and Bella Vista Panama, is where the most cases are registered by Covid -19.
