Application
Proficiency in Portuguese in the Brazilian variant is assessed based on the participant’s performance in both parts – written and oral.
The written part of the test lasts up to three hours and consists of four text production tasks covering more than one component or skill of using the Portuguese language.
During the test, audio and video are presented twice in a row, without interruptions, and participants must complete the tasks within the stipulated time.
The oral comprehension and production part lasts 20 minutes. During this period of time, there is in-person, face-to-face interaction between the participant, the evaluator-interlocutor and the evaluator-observer. The conversation between the parties focuses on the examinee’s personal interests based on the information in the registration form and also on everyday topics of general interest.
The results of this second edition of the exam year will be released on December 16th. The participant will be able to access the Celpe-Bras System with a login registered on the federal government’s single digital services portal, Gov.br.
