The Popular Renovation bench proposed to the Board of Directors of the Congress of the Republic to suspend a week of representation to investigate the recent complaints against the Government.
Through an official letter sent to the president of that state power, Lady Camones (Alliance for Progress), indicated that the commissions involved with political control must meet and summon those who are accountable to the country.
“Likewise, I consider it pertinent that the plenary session be convened this week to question the Minister of Transport and Communications and prioritize the review of the bills that are pending, as part of the legislative agenda of the board of directors of the Congress of the Republic that you currently have the honor of presiding”said the spokesman for said bench, Jorge Montoya.
“Finally, I highlight the role that as father of the country we have to prioritize in these crucial moments, such as the uncompromising defense of democracy through the execution of the political control procedures established by the Regulations of the Congress of the Republic”sentenced.
It should be noted that from Monday, August 22 to Friday, August 26, Congress will carry out the week of representation, the first of the administration of the President of Parliament, Lady Camones.
In this way, the provisions of subparagraph f) of article 23 of the regulations of that State power will be complied with.
Said device indicates that parliamentarians, within the framework of their functional duties, have the obligation to maintain communication with citizens and social organizations in order to know their concerns, needs and process them in accordance with current regulations.
