They presented tourist activities in Montevideo and Minas
In an intense day, at the end of last week, the Mayor and several Area Managers, for now Tourism and Events, presented three important tourist activities that will be developed in the department in the coming months.
The tour began in the capital of the country, at the Ministry of Tourism, and continued through the city of Minas in the department of Lavalleja.
“We went with colleagues to Montevideo where the Mayor was to present those three great popular festivals that the department has, which despite their magnitude are free access for the entire population” stood out Lizet Ruiz.
In this order, details were given of a new Edition of the Panda FEST that will take place on Saturday, December 6 at the Río Branco Shopping Center, Reina del Lago that will take place on Saturday, January 24 and, finally, the 2026 Carnival that will take place between February 14 and 21 of next year.
“We made a stop back in Minas to record a television program that is broadcast this week. There we were able to show off our dancers because in Montevideo we had a problem because the Ministry headquarters is under repair. NATIONAL CONGRESS OF TOURISM COMMISSIONS
Ruiz also collaborated in the organization of the 2nd National Congress of Tourism Commissions and Directorates that took place between last Friday and Sunday.
