Trimellitates represent the most effective family of products that can meet outstanding performance characteristics.
Polynt has a long history of developing and marketing a wide variety of these products for different technical needs. To support its growth and demand, Polynt has started the process of installing a new esterification plant to produce special plasticizers and, among these compounds, mainly trimellitates, at its site located in Atlacomulco (Mexico).
Design and permitting activities will begin during the second half of 2022. Plant construction is planned to take place during 2023 and some equipment from Polynt’s trimellitate plant at the Changzhou (China) site will also be used. which closed in 2021. Mechanical completion is expected by the end of 2023 and launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.
