The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) has made it possible for voters to consult the polling locations of those who requested a temporary transfer of their polling station. The information was released last Tuesday (3).
On the TSE page, just click on the menu “Electoral Services”on the top bar of the page, and then access the Title and the voting location. Then, just search by name, voter registration card or CPF. The page shows the voter registration number, the electoral zone and the voting location, with the full address.
In the e-Título app, which is a digital version of the voter registration card, the voting location appears right at the beginning, below the voter’s name. In addition, the app also has a geolocation tool. It can be downloaded for free from app stores. Around 46 million voters already have the e-Título throughout the country.
In the 2024 Municipal Elections, which will determine mayors and council members in more than 5,500 cities, the voting location may be temporarily changed in some cases permitted by the TSE. For example, people with disabilities or reduced mobility, military personnel who will be working on election day, provisional prisoners and adolescents in detention units, as well as Electoral Court employees who need to vote at the place where they will work. The deadline for requests for temporary transfers ended in August.
