Yesenia Luna said that yesterday they expected to spend about 100 chickens more than the normal sale, which is about 150 chickens. The chicken room is at S/15.90.
In his turn, Daniel Estrada, manager of the premises on Calle Real, said that his premises have the capacity to serve between 2,500 and 3,000 diners. “This dish does not distinguish social classes, we try to maintain an accessible price so that everyone can enjoy this dish.”

Yonatan Vílchez Díaz from the El Porvenir chicken store, located on the corner of Huancas and Ica extension, said that they maintain the price of the room at S/11, because if they increase it more, the diners would stop buying. He said that on a typical day they barely sold 30 to 40 chickens, when before the pandemic they sold up to 100 chickens. Poultry shops are affected by the increase in the price of chicken, oil, hot peppers and potatoes.
