Politicians and institutions mourn the death of actor Héctor Bonilla

Jenaro Villamil, president of the Public Broadcasting System of the Mexican State (SPR), said that Bonilla was always “next to the best of cinema, television, theater and politics.”

“I remember that he participated in the Mexican Workers’ Party (PMT), with Heberto Castillo, sought to democratize his union, supported López Obrador and was always a generous being,” he said.

The head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, also joined the messages dedicated to the actor’s family.

The Ministry of Culture deeply regretted the death of actor Héctor Bonilla, from 83 years oldgraduated from the INBAL School of Theater Art and considered one of the best actors in Mexico.

After four years of fighting cancer, Bonilla lost his life this Friday, November 25.

“He died at home, in peace, without pain and surrounded by his closest circle, who accompanied him to the end,” the actor’s family reported.

“We are aware that Hector left an immeasurable legacy and many hearts will mourn his loss,” he added.

“Know that, despite the infinite sadness that overwhelms us, we are calm to say goodbye to a man who left without owing anything to anyone, who lived intensely and fully, who always led by example and sowed love and joy on every path. that he traveled,” he said in a statement.
