Relatives of the women arrested during the post-election protests and who were held in La Crisálida said that they do not know the state of health of their relatives. They reported that officials from the penitentiary center assured that the apprehended women will spend a month without visits because “they are punished.”
Relatives of the political prisoners who are held in the La Crisálida Training Center for Female Prosecuted Women, in Los Teques, Miranda state, reported that visits were suspended for a month.
This October 28, the Venezuelan Prisons Observatory published a tweet in which it detailed that the relatives of the detainees received this information after the transfer that took place on the night of Thursday, October 24.
“They told us that they are punished,” those close to them told the OVP.
The NGO He indicated that in less than a week, two transfers were recorded in this prison facility, at night.

He added that the relatives have no official information about the transfers or the state of health of the detainees in the context of the post-election demonstrations.

Between July 29 and 30, protests were held in several cities in Venezuela in rejection of the results given by the National Electoral Council, in which President Nicolás Maduro was declared the winner of the presidential elections on July 28.
