For 10:00 a.m. this Monday, September 5, the call for a meeting of the members of the Political Committee of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD).
The call is to develop the meeting that corresponds to the month of September, with which its members comply with a resolution of said body that has scheduled at least one meeting per month.
The meeting of the political executive body of the PLD Central Committee, as defined in the Statutes of the Political Committee, is scheduled to take place in the Welcome Sandoval Room of the Casa Nacional Reinaldo Pared Pérez.
The political leadership of PLD meets at a time when the efforts of the entire Party are concentrated on the organizational and assembly aspects of the Citizen Consultation to measure the level of sympathy in the population of the six candidates for the Presidential candidacy, which anticipates that this topic will fill its agenda, as well as others that arise from its members, given the ordinary nature of the meeting.
The Organizing Commission of the Consultation on Presidential Candidates (CONAP), of which five of the members of the Political Committee are part, has just held a working meeting with the party leadership, reporting there on the steps and actions taken and the tasks that they have ahead.
As has been customary in the PLD, before the formal start of the meeting, the representation of the media is allowed to enter the room to capture the initial images of the meeting and at the end explanations of the decisions adopted are offered.
